the new russian naval miniatures in Axis & Allies 1942

I have seen in Internet some pics of the Axis & Allies in 1942 and I have noted with pleasure the new custom Russian naval miniatures.
Very nice, the Marat as battleship, Kirov and Gnevny as cruiser and destroyer.

So my question naturally arises ... said that almost no one Russian player will purchase these units and deploy it on the board game, it was so hard to make nice naval Italians miniatures in Anniversary too (that it is also a celebratory edition) without having to recycle it from Germany?
I remember that the Regia Marina, at the time of entry into the war, was the 5th most powerful fleet in the world...

No chance of seeing the Littorio, the Zara and the Condottieri class provided in reprint version of Anniversary?
In this case I'll purchase 10 copies of it!

Let's hope so, Mimmo! Maybe you can organize a campaign to bombard AH customer service with requests for Italian naval miniatures. It certainly couldn't hurt.

I was just setting here going through post on my web site. I was eating a bowl of ice cream on this hot night in Boston... We're all going to need you to help us out when the biggest, baddest, greatest two Axis & Allies games ever published come out. I'm talking about Axis & Allies Pacific 1940 and Axis & Allies Europe 1940. These games will make you stand up and salute. They might even get IL to shut up for awhile. I'm joking IL. Don't ever shut up. Oh by the way... if any of you have questions about these games ask IL. hahahahha,,,, :lol:

Ya know... that does make sense. You don't have time for humor.

Along those lines how about some tactical bombers... or torpedo planes / dive bombers. How about invading France, again! Or a totally dedicated ANZAC army controlled by a single player. How about the fact that the two games join up and become the biggest baddest Axis & Allies game ever published or ever will be published again.

yes tell us more...

1940.... battle of Britain, Sealion, alternative axis movements.

I hope you have historical victory conditions this time and that these games can be linked into one huge game ( with optional mid section of map)

I hope the map is large enough so people don't have to draw their own.

I hope the divebomber is a 3-2 unit costing 8 and you have new pieces for the factory and AA gun

I hope you include a score sheet on the back of the rules so players can copy it and write down officially the IPC

I hope the dice have symbols on them

I hope you change out some of the artillery sculpts

I hope that japan gets a new battleship

I hope you include escort carriers (jeep carriers)

I hope you have mechanized infantry and these are no longer considered "technology"

I hope the A-bomb can be developed in the game

I hope that neutrals have military forces and be swayed to align with one side or the other

I hope that Japan and Russia can not be forced into war for either of them to win

I hope that you include a deck of cards?
