RTS, Fun Factor

Post by Andre Bolkonsky » Mon Dec 06, 2004 12:27 am

Putting everything else said about this game aside:

The real measure of a game is not historical accuracy or absolute parity; it is how much fun is the game to play.

AnA strikes a chord because most american males, at one point or another, enjoyed the game immensely. You don't have to look far for someone who spent too many late nights rolling dice.

RTS strikes this chord for one reason; my gaming buddy, spruance, and I can't get enough of this game. We've played about three online, and are hooked.

Good job, guys.
War is but an extension of politics, by other means.

I picked up this game a while ago but I don't know. It just didnt fit in with the theme of the other variants. I found it too slow on my computer so I think that took away some of the fun. Maybe on a faster system when I upgrade in the future I will start to enjoy it.
