Atari sells Axis & Allies rights to Encore?

It looks like Encore purchased the rights to Axis & Allies RTS. The Atari name has been completely removed from the game case and from the instrunction manual. It's been replaced with Encore everywhere which leads me to believe that Atari no longer holds the publishing rights.

It sure would be nice if we could get a 2nd version of the game, there was a LOT of potential in the game, and TimeGate has a great RTS engine to build on. There is a die hard dedicated and fairly large base of Axis & Allies RTS gamers out there.

Is there any chance we will see an Axis & Allies RTS 2 now?
