Ambip. Ass. and Conv. Routes

Naval strategy and wise economic moves are both critical in waging this far-flung war across an entire hemisphere. To the familiar elements from Axis & Allies, Axis & Allies: Pacific adds convoys, island air and naval bases, kamikazes, destroyers, and the Chinese army.

Ambip. Ass. and Conv. Routes

Post by adlertag » Sun Apr 16, 2006 9:47 am

RULES CLARIFICATION

THE BATTLES OF CELEBES
Pre-combat: Celebes is an island with a british infantry on it, and an british convoy route assosiated to it.

Combat move: Japan moves in 3 trannies loadet with 6 infantry bound for an ampibous assault against that lonely Tommy. After 1 round of combat the island is cleaned of Tommy's , and now belong to Japan.

But, and here comes the clue, Japan need a ship with a combat value in order to take controll over the assosiated convoy route too.

Now, am I correct ??

Yes, you are correct. In this situation, nobody would get the Celebes income, since the islands are controlled by Japan and the Convoy Zone is controlled by the Allies.

Thanks big K, I was assuming this, but play with antagonists, and a rulebook that dont cover all possible scenarios.
