I like to post here the pictures of my home made game Axis & Allies Total War “Advanced Edition”.
After months of studying by wikipedia.it and .en, paint and remodelling some miniatures we are ready to play the first test game.
The table board with Axis & Allies boxes:
Hunting the Bismarck:
The Third Reich and Mediterranean Scenario:
The Empire of Evil:
The Empire of Japan:
TORA! TORA!! TORA!!!
The proletarian and Fascist Italy:
Hope you will like it.
Best regards to all.

thanks a lot for upload the pictures directly in the forum’s server.
The upside down push pin represents a “lighthouse” which simulate the presence of a main naval base in coastal territories where I draw e port (eg. Scapa Flow, Pearl Harbour or Taranto).
The naval base give some kind of advantage to the ships that are anchorage there against air attacks, it is very similar to the antiaircraft gun during a strategic bombing of an industrial complex.
For example if the British Mediterranean Fleet want attack the Regia Marina ships in Taranto the early warning system of the base will discover the approaching planes rolling 1 dice for each attacking aircraft, with D12 for each 2 or less one airplane is destroyed.
It is representing also a warning alert system against the attacks of Italian Special Forces; in fact I include in my game as Italian Special Forces the frog men “Uomini Gamma” from the Decima Flottiglia MAS.
Apologise if I cannot explain long in very good English but - if you are interesting - you can found more information at the following link:
>This represents lots of work… Obviously a labor of love.
>Nice job Mimmo.
thanks a lot for appreciate my job. I really love your (our) games.
Best regards to all.

My guess for the push pins was synthetic oil plants, as without something like this the Axis is at a big disadvantage when using oil supply rules.
One observation is that both the Swastika and Fasces symbols are the wrong way round - is this done deliberately to avoid political inferences?
Regarding the Fasces sometimes you can found it with the axes facing the right side and sometimes the left side but regarding the Swastika it was a terrible mistake! I'll repaint it in a short.
Regarding the oil rules I put oil wells in the Countries that during WWII were the major crude oil producer.
Each Power for use the oil must delivery the crude oil to the oil refinery by land (move 1 space per turn) or by sea with oil tanker (2 space per turn).
On my map I consider:
Port + Industrial complex also = oil refinery
Port + Industrial complex also = shipyard for repair the damaged battleships
Port + "lighthouse" also = protected naval base
