Yeah, it seems there was some useful progress during the war - not amazing, but maybe useful.

But destroyers were also used in battles - especially those that took place in coastal waters or not far from land.

I would have liked to still see them...

But I am very excited about this game!

I care not for fancy pants naval crap. I want goofy looking tanks that will look even goofier when I paint them. zeppelins would have been neat but I'm actually pretty sure the big man is playing with us when he says they won't be in the game. The only thing that makes me wonder if I'm wrong about it is the history of A&A units being thus: If one guy's got it they all must have it.

I'm no WWI buff or even to be honest of moderate intelligence or knowledge of much of anything but I think Germany and Germany only having such things. I know damn well Russia didn't have them.

I want you all to dig out your A&A games and show me any units you might find within that exist in one nations arsenal and not in another's.

German blockhouses are in a theater level game and don't count.

Cavalry on the other hand.....

This you must answer for Mr. Harris...

Why not?

We will require more information on the battle mechanics as well if you don't mind.

I want to use poison gas and influenza virus as biological weapons, and I want to be able to INCITE a revolution or pacifist movement in the enemy's civilian population.

Armenian genocide too?

Armenians sided with Russia and became traitors to the Ottomans during war with armed conflict and aiding the enemy against their own nation. And they did this in winter, and in the mountains and wonder why the Ottomans fought back and beat them.
We really need an Axis and Allies World War one game so i can play that on August 1st, 2014.
