Any one check into this, it is the 1st I have seen of this figure company making a game as well included in the product...

the other company that does this is Zvezda...perhaps a new trend in the figure market...

I just found it on ebay, and ordered a copy of the base game, as well as the expansion that includes paras...

Do you have a LINK to this? I have a sneaky suspicion that they're just repackaging some OLD "sets" that they used to produce and call these as "Battle of..." something or another, while it mainly is just a few model Tanks and boxes worth of 'Troops', along with a "diorama" base to display those upon. In fact, 'Airfix' did a few of these to go along with their line of 'Troops', and may even have continued this more recently with a select few, such as the "Coastal Fortification" one, or "Normandy Beach" kinds. I even used to get the MPC 'kits' with a mini-base included for which you could place these upon once you constructed those. Those ranged from with the likes of "Death of the Red Baron", to even one about "Guadalcanal" that featured the "M-3 Lee" Tank, and "Marines" to depict a 'landing' with it. Sometimes you could get a few of these and combine them to portray a portion of the "Battle" that any were involved for. Before even these, then they'd give you 'instructions' on how to make "papier marche" terrain in order to recreate any landscapes that were required for such. Pretty "ye olde style" eh?

Thanks to "elbowmaster", then I've located yet some others of these and check them out here:

Just 'click' on the "product number" to bring that up, and then 'click' on the small photo to make that appear much larger.

Here's what a "Fort" of theirs looks like:

Just remember, these are 'scaled' for use with 1/72nd miniatures.

...there are a few of those games around, e.g. Gettysburg & even a French Foreign Legion one!

The one I got was Zeveda's Battle of Marathon, quite enjoyable, even added a booster of Persian Cavalry & chariots & elephants. If you paint them, be careful you don't "flake" off their paint, moving them around (just painting one figure e.g.same pose archer, to see what it look like, and, keeping the ohers unpainted, makes gamming easier for me). thanks, Pellulo

Now Italeri Battle of the Bulge Set, does look like just smaller kits, thrown, into the same box. The old K-BEE toy stores, used to sell nice 1/72 die cast sets by ?Corgie of WWII armor, that can supplement easily the D-Day & Bulge sets, thanks, Pellulo
