Great News Larry- glad you can finally spilled it.

I called it guys, way back when (pat myself on the back)!!!

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=1652

Larry you answered a lot of my questions through IL's post- thanks.

I'm assuming the maps will be similar to Europe/Pacific with AA50 art- cool.
Also will Italy be the same color?? (I really don't mind the brown- royal purple or royal blue might be nice though.)
Gotta keep the Hellcat/ Mustang for the US- but whatever.

I actually agreed with all your answers to IL's questions. I know people will be asking crazy questions now like "Can you add sharks with lasers for the Axis and Super Dooper para-A-bombs subs for the Allies?"- these always make me cry laughing out of my chair. It seems that we see eye to eye.

I truly hope the chimps at WOTC can get these out on the right dates in honor of people like my grandfather who is a WW2vet and 88 years old.

May 8th was V-E Day and Aug 15th (or Sept 2nd officially) was V-J Day. I think this is a very important detail that cannot be screwed up. I am assuming these will be released on May 8th (Europe) and August 15th (Pacific) of 2010 (65th anniversary of WW2) as they should be.

WOTC has committed to the reprint of AA50

After the close down of TripleA, I'm assuming they will make the CD game for AA50 and/or AA42 (and hopefully your new Europe/Pacific too)

AA42 is soon out for newbies and market appeal (not my favorite but will buy it for the extra sculpts and travel capabilities.)

And now the Announcement of Europe 1940 and Pacific 1940- Awesome!!!

Maybe you can make AA Card Game???- for travel.

Larry, I don't know if you can top AA50, AAEurope40 and AAPacific40.

Would you consider doing other historical conflicts and wars or retire?

You see why I call myself the questioneer. :?:

:D

Wow! :) That's great news!

French Navy?

Size of the map when together (Pacific+Europe)? Bigger than Anniversary?

Release date?

I was believing that a new Campaign game was next...but thats ok, this one will be GREAT!

Oh yeah, I'll be at Gencon. If you see me come over and say Hi.

Larry, Great news about GEN CON. I'm pretty sure I was aware of this through WotC/Ah...I am guessing you will be at their HQ...We will be in a different room this year if you didn't already know... About three doors down from last year...

Hey Yoper will be there as well...yeah, had to CON him into it

A lot of interesting news on the AA front...maybe we can chat a bit more at GEN CON if we get a break...

yes tell us more...

1940.... battle of Britain, Sealion, alternative axis movements.

I hope you have historical victory conditions this time and that these games can be linked into one huge game ( with optional mid section of map)

I hope the map is large enough so people don't have to draw their own.

I hope the divebomber is a 3-2 unit costing 8 and you have new pieces for the factory and AA gun

I hope you include a score sheet on the back of the rules so players can copy it and write down officially the IPC

I hope the dice have symbols on them

I hope you change out some of the artillery sculpts

I hope that japan gets a new battleship

I hope you include escort carriers (jeep carriers)

I hope you have mechanized infantry and these are no longer considered "technology"

I hope the A-bomb can be developed in the game

I hope that neutrals have military forces and be swayed to align with one side or the other

I hope that Japan and Russia can not be forced into war for either of them to win

I hope that you include a deck of cards?

Keep hope alive!

I guess we could have expected a quote like this...but please

You know IL, this is AA. A game for players that like playing the AA series of games. Please, I will take the first step in saying, please don't sit here and go through a laundry list of things you want in a game and then make a big stink when the game comes out and it doesn't have want you want the way you want it.

It is a freakin' game that we all love playing. If you don't like the way Larry and others design the games, then don't play, join another forum, complain there or just accept things the way they are. Capice!

You know, IMHO, that has to be one of the most disrespectful things you could do...come on here and say, "I hope...I hope...I hope..." as if the world will stop if it is not!

ok part two:

more or less confirm release date of each?

size of each map?

Can you reconfirm the movement sequence? It is or not Axis players move then allies move?

I can say that Italy is in the game and may have some new pieces?

Is technology in the game and does the game have pieces for these?

Example: i have rockets, so i get a V-2 plastic piece, or just keep using the Milton Bradley AA token?

If no play money do these games offer an official sheet to write down the IPC and tech developments? This can be copied from the rulebook...but it would be official. yes?

Oh please don't bother with it. I am getting this information for others, so just remain about your own realm and let others get the information for the mutual benefit.

Also, please don't sidetrack a decent thread.

People want to know about the game and i am only asking questions. I totally support all the AA games except like most who don't like the black oceans in one game.

The game in each release has gone pretty much like i wanted anyway except perhaps not far enough in some respects.

Yeah right...get this information for others. And my own realm...why not try to come down to earth some time and get a view from the real seats.

Who is sidetracking? I am just stating the facts regarding your morass attempt to belittle AA.

No you are not. You don't ask questions by starting with, "I hope" it has this and "I hope" it has that. Why not ask, Larry, could you please give us the scoop on the game, details, etc. Not, a blatant attempt to smear the game before it is even in the stores...

More BS...you shoot down every new product that comes out in detail and then complain about it for weeks on end...and what is with the "like i wanted" bit. What, were you in charge of all the product lines?
