ELBOW, You cant paint soft plastic with any good results unless you use PLasticCote which immerses the thing in another plastic shell so when you bend the guns the end paint dont slip off. Hopefully hard plastic will be used so yes they can easilly be painted and will maintain a better image present...

In naval battles particularly hits by planes including bomber hits should be assigned by the attacker. if there are defending planes with naval actions and attacking planes, then planes are lost before ships ( again assigned by the attacker). i agree with lobo and perhaps we have to bring in the convoy "boxes" to solve this. Similiar rules to pacific/ europe would be observed.
