The Flying Tigers plane in our version is marked with a little US pilot.

It has Attack +1 and Defense +1 to honor the skills of the pilots.

Once shot down, they're gone.

It also adds randomness to the game, which IMO is a big no, no.

The randomnes of the dice should be enough.

We're also talking about playing a game here.

If the Axis have indeed a 80% chance of winning the 1941 scenario, than it's an imbalanced game.

It's as simple as that.

The map we play on has a lot more territories, but I agree that it can off balance the game using this board.
