Re: Axis & Allies Victory Conditions

Larry, I think he's saying that the rules don't provide an incentive to continue to the "true" end, instead of there being a lack of rules to provide this end. Sure, there are rules for the allies to control Berlin, Tokyo (And perhaps Rome) to win, but the Axis would never play to the end if their h...

Re: First pics for AA:1914 game

Meh, I can get used to the colors...
Might be weird playing on an angled map, but interesting nonetheless.

Hope those chips are compatible with A&A G40 chips.

Re: Canada AA1914

As much as it would be cool to have more playable nations... Larry did say that A&A 1914 would be less complex than A&A 1942. With that said, I'd expect Canada, India and ANZAC to be all represented by Britain, considering that is the most simple approach and they all are technically part of the Bri...

Re: Axis & Allies 1914 WORLD WAR 1

Nice!! Can't wait for more details! Everyone else here have already asked most of my questions, except... How will the Western Front be simulated in the game? And since this starts in 1914, I wonder how the nations that opted to stay neutral in the beginning will be played. I also wonder what the na...

Re: Oil Needed for Actions

Most of the major figures involved were American citizens Of German decent, of which you always leave out because you hate them. He made that point to argue a previous statement about captured scientists providing a lot of the work done to get the A-bomb, not because of prejudice to Germans or Germ...

Re: Rules on occupying "friendly" neutral territories

Keep in mind that the UK, ANZAC and the Dutch are all at war with Germany, so there are no neutral barriers between them. Even though Germany is not present in this game, technically those three are at war with Germany so it wouldn't make sense if they were all neutral to each other. So there aren't...
