Re: Gaming table for G40
patio doors are dual-pane glass. You'd have a 3/4" space between the map and your pieces. Would make your planes look like they are flying, lol. Did you separate the panes and remove the spacer? Could not have been easy to do.

Re: Defending Larry's Alpha +3
The ease for which Sealion can be successful is a big disappointment for me. I think some of the UK Atlantic fleet should have been docked in liverpool (sz109) with a second transport. Some UK units in Normandy (3inf, 1AA) that are tough for the Germans to take out AND destroy Uk shipping would repr...

Re: Alpha +3
was looking over the set up for A3, it appears there are only three UK ftrs in London. The french ftr was removed. It was my understanding that the french ftr was replaced by a UK ftr. What is all supposed to be in London?
Also, there are no longer ANY UK units in France? Not even a single inf?

Q, you are just about the loudest voice on this forum when lobbying for what you want in the game. You are the last person who should be giving anyone a hard time. You must have taken about 35 trips to the hospital in the whaaambulance by now. lol.

Re: Defending Larry's Alpha +3
I think it is a problem if London can be so easily taken. I suppose a bid can fix that. I don't think it will need to be as high as 30 though. Just needs to be enough to stop Sealion. 5-6 inf would do that. Removing the Gib airbase really hurts my Allied strategy, but I will adjust. I hoped some of ...

Re: Who would like a Vichy Rule?
I wouldn't mind if N.Africa just converted over to German control w/German inf. A separate Vichy would not be good. How do you separate Vichy from Free French?

Re: Alpha +3
Its a little disappointing thats for sure. Mostly because it is soooo close. It will require a bid for allied units now, and that will be wierd. One wonders if Larry is happy with the result or if he grew tired of the badgering he got from a lot of folks.

Re: Please sell me on how awesome A3 aa guns are
I think this is a fine topic for discussion. Never was it sugested in the original post to peel it back. JHat seems to be looking for pros and cons on the AA rule. So here is my take..... I like the rule. Was a house rule we've always discussed but never implemented. Now your base AA defence has onl...
