Have you tried making only 1 attack and holding Karelia with the Soviets during the initial round? I wouldn't advise it...

I've played 5 so far, 4 as Allies, 1 as Axis, lost one as Axis. The UK and US strategy (and the whole Allied one) are completely different from the previous edition due to the map and setup changes, while the Axis and specially Germany remain pretty much the same. I'm playing in a league and we play a minimun of 4 games of 1942 per month. Now it seem that it so much easyer to win with the Axis then Allies, I'm taking about 2 players same strengh, usually the axis will win (unless the dice are really bad all night) but in average Axis win most of the games. Hey Larry, I've just read through the list of proposed changes and although I haven't try it. I have thought however that the NO worth 10 IPCs for Japan will do anything to stop an India crush on J3.
